Life has no color for me right now...


So...
Some of you individuals might have noticed that there's a huge clash going on right now in the fractal community. A clash about non-diversity, and its (non-)appreciation.

It is truly sad to see the community degenerate to a point where I see exactly the same things, every time I take a look into the fractal gallery. I see heartless, mass produced, or - I really dare to say it here- copied themes.
Sure these are fractals. But it's hard for me to acknowledge them as fractal ART.
Same thing with criticism. I noticed a lot of arguments about the way of general critique. And I must say I'm not pleased with some people's attitude of living in a "...fluffy, happy 'nice fractal utopia land' with the butterflies and nice colours, and flowers and unicorns..." (Quote: =trystianity). Feedback and critique - negative as well as positive - is what makes an artist grow in his role. If you don't want any, disable comments. Else, take these words by heart.

But yeah, who am I to rant about critique, since I hardly ever share my impressions, you may wonder. That's right. And I owe a lot of appreciation to those people who are able to put their feelings into words, other than "nice job". Because I am not.
